Tomás Aguilar is the co-founder and CEO of Ledgerline, the payments-reconciliation platform that closed a $24M Series B in May to take real-time settlement matching to mid-market banks. He started the company in 2022 after eight years running settlement infrastructure at two clearing firms, where he watched the same overnight batch failures eat the same margins every quarter.

Reporters call Tomás when a payments story needs someone who has actually operated the rails — he can explain interchange economics, reconciliation failure modes, and why "instant" payments still settle on a lag, without leaning on a comms script. He announces company milestones here first.

Ledgerline is headquartered in Austin with 63 employees. Tomás splits his time between Austin and New York.
